At SPIE, sustainability, responsibility and high ethical standards are at the core of our corporate culture.

Our strategy is based on three key principles: responsible sourcing, employee ownership and zero tolerance for corruption. These values are the foundation of our business and impact our employees and partners, building trust and supporting sustainable business development.

Responsible sourcing: a collaborative approach with suppliers

As a multi-technical service provider, SPIE sources goods and services worth almost €4 billion from 70,000 suppliers and subcontractors. Suppliers are regularly assessed for their CSR activities in a process of independent audits. We identify CSR risks and implement individual action plans, focusing on key areas such as health and safety and carbon footprint reduction. By 2025, SPIE aims to source two-thirds of its purchases from suppliers equally committed to significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Business ethics: a workplace code of conduct

The SPIE Group places great emphasis on adhering to business ethics. We have developed a code of ethics and a robust procedure for managing reports and alerts. We offer training programmes to our employees on ethical risks, depending on their level of exposure.

CSR driving economic growth: a shared vision for the future

Employee ownership has been an integral part of SPIE's identity since 1997, when employees first acquired a stake in the company. This commitment has evolved over the years, reaching key milestones, including the IPO in 2015. We regularly offer SHARE FOR YOU ownership plans to employees, demonstrating our commitment to their long-term success. In 2021, employees became SPIE's largest shareholder group, placing us among the top 12 companies in the SBF 120 index for employee ownership. SPIE is also part of the Euronext FAS IAS index, which recognises companies with strong employee ownership frameworks.
