SPIE Energy Poland S.A. has been selected as the lead partner in the consortium responsible for the construction of the first section of the 400 kV Choczewo – Gdańsk Błonia – Grudziądz Węgrowo transmission line. This is one of the key investments by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne, and represents an important element in the expansion of the national transmission infrastructure.

Contract signed for the expansion of the Gdańsk Błonia substation

SPIE Energy Poland S.A., in a consortium with ELFEKO S.A., has signed a contract with Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne for the expansion and modernisation of the Gdańsk Błonia 400/110 kV substation. The contract is worth over 402 million zlotys, and the project is scheduled for completion in November 2030.

Water monitoring in buildings. How can costs be effectively reduced?

Smart meters, digital systems and leak detection technologies can significantly reduce water consumption. As the European Commission points out, remote metering alone can reduce water consumption by up to 25 per cent. For building managers, this is a compelling argument for treating water monitoring as a tool for cost control, minimising wastage and responding quickly to faults. Without reliable data, it is difficult to assess where consumption is justified and where it begins to result in unnecessary wastage.
