According to the report “The Last Chance for Ageing Properties” published by Colliers, in Warsaw alone 64 per cent of office space is located in buildings over 10 years old, and 28 per cent in buildings older than 21 years. At the same time, companies are increasingly expecting their rented offices not only to be in a good location, but also to offer high energy efficiency, low operating costs and compliance with sustainability goals.

Water monitoring in buildings. How can costs be effectively reduced?

Smart meters, digital systems and leak detection technologies can significantly reduce water consumption. As the European Commission points out, remote metering alone can reduce water consumption by up to 25 per cent. For building managers, this is a compelling argument for treating water monitoring as a tool for cost control, minimising wastage and responding quickly to faults. Without reliable data, it is difficult to assess where consumption is justified and where it begins to result in unnecessary wastage.
