Łukasz Dul guest at the round table at the European Economic Congress

Zawartość

On 23 April, during the European Economic Congress in Katowice, a roundtable was held on 'Energy in Industry. The blind spot of transformation". One of the invited guests was Łukasz Dul, Director of Strategy and Business Development at SPIE Central Europe.

The discussion focused on the role of energy in the management of Polish enterprises and the challenges of transforming it into a strategic resource. The starting point was the results of Schneider Electric's "Blind Zone of Transformation" report, which show that almost half of companies in Poland do not consciously control their energy consumption, a significant proportion do not track changes in the energy market, and the majority do not manage energy strategically.

Participants analysed the scale of this phenomenon, pointing out the gap between declared awareness and actual data use. The conversation also covered the main barriers to transformation - from competences and budgets to decision-making structure and access to information - and examples of actions that have produced tangible results and can set the next directions for business.

The European Economic Congress (EEC) is the largest and most opinion-forming meeting of representatives of business, politics, science and local government in the Central European region. For 18 years, EEC has remained the forum where ideas and initiatives influencing the directions of economic development in Poland and Europe are born.
