SPIE Building Solutions, a Polish company belonging to the SPIE Group, an independent European provider of multitechnical services in the field of energy and data transmission, announces that it has acquired SPIE OPCO as of 1 August 2024.
As a result of the acquisition, SPIE Building Solutions has assumed all the rights and obligations of SPIE OPCO. The effect of the merger was to merge the assets and organisational structures of both companies. This integration is another step towards the unification of image and standards within the SPIE Group.
The acquisition of SPIE OPCO is also a benefit for the company's business partners and customers - the expanded scale of operations of the merged entities means greater availability of specialists and standardisation of services regardless of location.
SPIE OPCO provided comprehensive mobile facility management services for the facilities of network customers dispersed throughout the country. The company was responsible for maintaining the proper technical standard of the buildings on a 24/7 basis, building inspections, mobile service and maintenance, as well as repairs and upgrades to properties, inventories and audits, inspections and repairs in the area of fire safety.
As a result of the acquisition, SPIE Building Solutions has gained 57 regional service points, SPIE OPCO's technical and service (HVAC) staff of more than 300, as well as its nationwide boiler and chiller teams.
The acquisition of SPIE OPCO strengthens SPIE Building Solutions' position as a leading technical service provider, ready to provide customers with an even wider range of specialist solutions.
