SPIE Central Europe Cup 2025: sporting rivalry and promotion to Rotterdam!

The SPIE Central Europe Cup 2025 football tournament took place on Saturday, 10 May 2025 at the Sawo Gruz Arena in Lodz, Poland. Eight teams consisting of 75 players representing SPIE companies from the Central Europe region took part in the event.

  • SPIE Hungaria + SPIE Agis Fire & Security
  • SPIE Building Solutions 1
  • SPIE Energy Poland
  • SPIE Building Solutions 2
  • SPIE Building Solutions + SPIE Energotest
  • SPIE Stangl Technik (Poland)
  • SPIE Nexotech

Rivalry on the field took place in the formula "each with each" i.e. a league system, which ensured high dynamics of the games. As many as 28 matches were played. The competition was accompanied by the lively cheering of fans gathered in the stands.

After a series of fierce matches and many spectacular goals, Team SPIE Stangl Technik from the Czech Republic and the combined team SPIE Hungaria + SPIE AGIS Fire & Security took the top two places in the table, securing promotion to the final of the SPIE Football Cup 2025, to be held on 27-29 June in Rotterdam.

The third place in the tournament was won by the team SPIE Building Solutions + SPIE Energotest.

In addition to the team competition, individual prizes were also awarded for the best player of the tournament, Adrian Nowakowski from the SPIE Building Solutions + SPIE Energotest team and the title of best goalkeeper was won by Petr Kratochvil representing SPIE Stangl Technik from the Czech Republic. The SPIE Footbal Challenge was won by Kevin Hanko from SPIE Hungaria.

On that day, the fans present in the stands could see not only good football, but also cooperation between players from different countries. The SPIE Central Europe Cup showed that sport can bring people together and build positive relationships between employees from different SPIE Group companies.
