The XXVI SPIE Energotest Conference "Power Automation in the Age of Transition" was held on 13-15 May 2026 at the Crystal Mountain Hotel in Wisła. The event was attended by nearly 400 representatives of transmission and distribution system operators, power generation, industry, renewable energy sources and technology suppliers. The conference brought together representatives of 120 companies, and 25 exhibitors presented their offers.
The consequences of the energy transition for the country's power sector were at the centre of this year's debate. Participants discussed the role of automation in integrating renewable energy sources, increasing infrastructure resilience and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the National Power System under conditions of increasing volatility in the energy market.
Organised continuously for nearly 30 years by SPIE Energotest, the conference remains one of the most important industry forums dedicated to power automation in Poland. The event combines the perspectives of operators, manufacturers, technology suppliers and end users, creating a space to discuss the directions of the sector's development and the challenges facing the Polish power industry.
