SPIE Building Solutions has extended its cooperation with the Żabka retail chain. As of 1 April 2026, 1135 shops in the Wielkopolska region have been serviced. As a result, the company is now responsible for the technical and service maintenance of more than 4,000 premises, i.e. around 30% of the entire chain in Poland.
This is a continuation of a project implemented since September 2025, when SPIE took over the operation of more than 3,000 shops in the Mazowieckie, Łódzkie and Świętokrzyskie provinces.
The new stage of cooperation includes the Wielkopolskie Province, which, due to its vastness, poses an organisational, logistical and personnel challenge. For this reason, we have prepared an appropriate division of teams and resources to ensure efficient service delivery throughout the area. The extension of the cooperation is an expression of trust on the part of the customer, from whose perspective the reliability of the technical infrastructure of the shops, affecting both the comfort of the franchisees and the shopping experience of the customers, is of key importance.
- says Paweł Markiewicz, Project Manager at SPIE Building Solutions.
The scope of cooperation includes comprehensive facility management: accepting requests, repairs and ongoing maintenance of infrastructure and equipment, which translates into maintaining the operational continuity of the facilities.
The project is carried out by mobile service teams supported by SPIE's nationwide operational structure. The parties are working together under a long-term, indefinite agreement and the scale of the venture indicates the potential for further expansion of the partnership.
