SPIE has implemented a system for the centralised management of renewable energy installations at PVE Construction

Zawartość

SPIE Energotest has completed the roll-out of its proprietary ECONTROLoze system for the PVE Group. The solution enables centralised management of distributed renewable energy installations, supporting their monitoring, remote control and operational optimisation.

The system currently integrates 34 photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of approximately 163 MWp. Thanks to centralised data and process automation, operators can manage the installations more efficiently, respond to signals from grid operators and adapt energy production to changing market conditions.

One of the biggest challenges of this project was the integration of numerous dispersed sites using equipment from different manufacturers and ensuring reliable communication between them. In environments of this kind, it is crucial to create a platform that not only provides centralised oversight of the entire infrastructure but is also ready for further expansion as the portfolio of renewable energy installations grows

– says Tomasz Czapla, Director of the Implementation Department within the Systems and Automation Division at SPIE Energotest.

The ECONTROLoze system has been designed as a scalable solution that can be expanded to include further generation sources and energy storage facilities. The project also takes into account cybersecurity requirements.

The energy transition is gathering pace, so the importance of advanced systems for managing renewable energy sources will continue to grow. As we develop the functionality of the ECONTROLoze system, we are focusing on further enhancing integration capabilities, automating operational processes, expanding analytical and predictive functions, and utilising algorithms to support decision-making. Another key area of focus remains the development of functions related to cybersecurity, compliance with the requirements of the NIS 2 Directive, and the management of increasingly complex energy ecosystems, including solar farms, energy storage facilities, wind farms and other distributed energy sources

– adds Anna Hachuła, Sales Director of the Systems and Automation Division at SPIE Energotest.
